The organization Kodak received its name coming from Eastman and his mother, Eastman's favorite letter was K he stated that it looked like strong to him. Eastman wanted his company name to become short, simple to remember, simple to say, and he wished to make sure it wasn't linked to any other business out there. There have also been ideas that Kodak was started by David Houston a photographic creator, who had currently begun having a patent of his inventions in the early 1880s. Kodak was founded in 1888 by George Eastman, It began selling inexpensive cameras, film, chemicals and paper. 1888 Eastman made rolled picture taking film. Eastman also developed an advertising slogan " you press the button, we all do the rest" in 1888 Eastman got announced the invention of the photo taking film in rolls, and that was the commence of his business. He also put his 1st camera in the marketplace. The 1st camera was loaded with enough film no less than 100 exposures; it was also portable and may fit in someone's hands pleasantly. Kodak confronted its first law suit in 1976 with a company named Polaroid Company. Polaroid stated that it acquired the right to immediate film and stopped Kodak in its tracks. Fujifilm had a completely different start up, Fujifilm started out as Fuji Photo Film Co Limited and a government want to establish a home-based film sector in January 1934. In Feb of 1934 it also inherited Dainippon Celluloid Business Limited. The organization started to create it personal film, printing paper, dry plates and other photo components. Over a period of 10 years the company as well produced movie films and x-ray movies. When WW2 was more than Fuji began penetrating the medical field with all the x-ray analysis, printing, digital imaging and magnetic supplies fields. Fuji also joined forces with Xerox.
